August – September 2026 – Alzheimer’s Association

The Des Moines Chapter of AGA picks several charities each year to support by collecting monetary donations during the program year. The Des Moines Chapter will match up to $100 in donations per charity and will also request a match from the National AGA Office. The Des Moines Chapter has chosen four charities to support throughout the 2026-2027 program year, starting with the Alzheimer’s Association.

For the months of August & September 2026 the Des Moines Chapter is raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association. In addition to raising monetary donations, the Des Moines Chapter has also signed up and created a team for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s!

Our team name is the AGA Des Moines Chapter Walkers. If you would like to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association, please use our team’s webpage to make your donation. The Chapter will match up to $100 of the donations made to the team. If you would like to participate in the Walk on Saturday, October 10th, please join the team and we will send out an email prior to that weekend on where we plan to all meet up the day of the Walk.
